This Privacy Policy explains how Teleprompter for Reels handles information when you use the mobile app. The app is designed to help you write scripts, record video takes, generate captions, preview styled videos, and export finished recordings.

Information You Create in the App

The app may store scripts, transcripts, recorded videos, caption settings, and export preferences on your device. This content is used to provide the app features you request. We do not sell your scripts, recordings, transcripts, or caption data.

Camera, Microphone, Photos, and Speech Recognition

Teleprompter for Reels asks for camera and microphone access so you can record video takes with audio. The app asks for Photos access when you choose to save an exported video to your Photos library.

If you generate auto captions, the app uses Apple Speech Recognition to analyze the audio from your recording and create timed caption words. Speech recognition processing is handled through Apple frameworks and services subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We receive entitlement information needed to unlock paid features, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

Diagnostics and Device Information

The app may receive standard diagnostic information provided by Apple, such as crash reports or App Store subscription status, when Apple makes that information available to developers. This information is used to maintain and improve the app.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on Apple services and frameworks, including StoreKit, Photos, AVFoundation, and Speech Recognition. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your scripts, recordings, or caption content with advertisers. Information may be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to operate services necessary for the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

Scripts, recordings, transcripts, and caption settings are stored on your device unless you delete them or remove the app. You can delete recordings and scripts inside the app where those features are available. Removing the app may delete locally stored app data from your device.

Children

Teleprompter for Reels is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or through the policy page.
